How to extract a downloaded Huawei dashboard update RAR files in WinRAR Software:- Download all files (Part 1 & 2) Go to the download folder and right-click on the part1 file. Right-click window open and click on the"Extract Here" option. Wait.  Done.

Downloaded Zip/Rar files extract in a folder using unzip/Winrar software, and procedure as mentioned in the specific post.

Installation Procedure :- Now run the Unlock and Flash code generator software and through Huawei tab generate the unlock code and flash code for your IMEI. Now close the dashboard/software of your modem. Go to the R201 Firmware Update folder and open it. Select "E583XUpdate_716.11.17.07.108SP02" files and always run as an administrator.  If, when a security warning window PC pops up and click "Yes" the operation as instructed. Now it will ask you for password, provide flash code as a password. After finishing the flash process, change the sim card of another network provider and plug your modem to computer/laptop. Now it will ask you for a password. Provide the unlock code as a password and your modem is unlocked forever.

Note:- Make sure that the computer has all the drivers. (The easiest way to make sure that your computer meets this requirement is to connect the modem to the computer and connect to internet.) Close any type of connection programs like Mobile Partner or Branded mobile software (Modem must not be connected to the internet, modem light must be blinking, the software must not be running) If you want to unlock your R201, you can do it after the firmware update.
